Strawberry Spinach Salad:

SuperPEOPLE truly eat superfoods like spinach! I'm so thrilled strawberries are in season.  As a vegan, I am always looking for new ways to get my nourishment.

  1. 10 ounce bag of fresh spinach

  2. 1/4 small red onion thinly sliced

  3. 1 avocado

  4. 1/4 red onion thinly sliced

  5. 1/2 cup of sliced toasted almonds

  6. 16-oz of strawberries

DIRECTIONS: In a large bowl combine the spinach, red onions, strawberries, and almonds and toss it. Top the salad with avocados and your FAVO dressing.

The Ultimate Vegan Burger:

When it comes to veggie burgers, my favorite burger to eat is Dr. Praeger's California Burger. I have a few rules that I follow when I eat them. First, they can be indulged with or without bread. If with bread, I like to lightly toast my bun in the skillet with vegan butter.  Second, they can have any combination of the following: lettuce, red onions, avocados, shredded vegan cheese, mustard and ketchup.

The burgers can be made in a variety of ways. However, I love to cook my burger in a skillet by throwing a little extra virgin coconut oil and/or olive oil  in the skillet and cook it for about 7 minutes on both sides, until browned.

Refreshing Summer Dessert:

Watermelon, strawberry smoothies are such a great summer treat for your tummy! They're 100% fruit and naturally help balance your electrolytes!

  1. 3 cups of cubed watermelon
  2. 1 cup of frozen strawberries
  3. 1 lemon for zest
  4. 2 tablespoons of ground cinnamon

Place the watermelon and frozen strawberries pieces into the blender and blend until smooth! Top with ground cinnamon and a zest of lemon. Serve right away to enjoy this greatness!
